This program was develop in partnership with North Shore Tribal and Indian Friendship Centre. A health service program providing the services of a Family Doctor, Nurse Practitioner, and Registered Dietitian.

Clinic Days Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday 9:00 am – 3:00 pm Friday 9:00 am – 12 noon Friday – Dr. Quon 12:30- 4:00 pm
What is the community health access centre? Lori Russon - Nurse Practitioner Rhonda Angeconeb – Nurse Practitioner Rhonda is a R.N. (E.C.), MScN. (Registered Nurse with Extended Class that gives her privileges to diagnose certain diseases and the authority to write certain prescriptions. She attends the Centre on: Tuesdays and Wednesdays Shirley Morley – Nurse Practitioner Shirley is also a R.N. (E.C.) with the same privileges as Rhonda. She attends the IFC Health Centre on: Thursdays & Friday Mornings. Roseanne Allen – Medical Clerk/Secretary Roseanne books all appointments and Referrals for the Nurse Practitioners, Doctor and Dietitian. She also performs all administrative duties for the office. Ensures medical records, immunizations and diagnostic results are transferred to the IFC Health Centre. Dr. Quon – Family Physician Doctor attends the clinic every Friday afternoon, unless otherwise noted. He is always available to the nurse practitioners for telephone contact and advice. Beverley Humphrys – Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist Beverley is available Tuesdays to provide dietary counselling for any nutritional concerns, including, diabetes, weight management and nutrition education. Group presentations available. We offer full health care services such as: ¨ Treatment of illnesses ¨ Routine annual check-ups ¨ Well baby care and immunizations ¨ Prenatal care ¨ Fill out medical forms/daycare forms ¨ Provide referral to other services/agencies ¨ Assist with social issues ¨ Health education/counselling ¨ Nutrition counselling ¨ Birth control advice & prescription ¨ Sexually transmitted disease testing, treatment, Education ¨ Foot care Services ¨ Diabetes care ¨ Hospital visits ¨ Fill out addiction treatment forms ¨ Referral to home care ¨ Assistance with medical devices
Follow-up of clients with chronic diseases (high blood pressure, arthritis, diabetes, etc. NO EMERGENCY SERVICES Please call for appointments If you think you have an emergency (chest pain, difficulty breathing, accident, broken bones) please go to the hospital emergency where they can help you. |
