Program is for urban youth between the ages of 10-29

Homelessness Program is for those people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness

Healthy Babies/Healthy Children Program can serve families with children 0-6 years of age

Referral Requirements

All programs for the Indian Friendship Centre are available to those who are status, non-status, Métis, or Inuit.  We will not turn away anyone from attending programming or receiving services.

Some individual programs may have additional referral requirements such as N’Mminoeyaa Health Clinic, Life Long Care, Employment Unit.  Call the Program Coordinators for more specific program and referral information.

N’Mminoeyaa Health Clinic

New patients must be Status, Non-Status, Métis or family member of (e.g.. Child, spouse, common-law partner)

Family Support Program is restricted to families with children 6 months to 6 years of age

Life Long Care Program

Clients must be deemed elderly frail, chronically ill and/or disabled

Prenatal/Nutrition Program is restricted to families with children 0-6 months of age

Akwe:Go - This program has been specifically designed to provide a comprehensive program to urban Aboriginal children between the ages of 7-12 years
